Child Health Advances from Research with Mothers

About Us

CHARM, Child Health Advances through Research with Mothers, is a group of scientists and doctors that has been working on maternal and child health for more than 10 years. It supports two prospective, observational studies that recruit in pregnancy and follow the mother and child for many years.

ARCH

(Archive for Research on Child Health) started in 2008, closed to recruitment in 2016, and recruited approximately 1000 pregnant women. The CHARM Study Office continues to follow ARCH participants.

MARCH

Michigan Archive for Research on Child Health) began recruitment of pregnant women in 2016 and plans to recruit over 1000 participants from 11 sites across the state.
